When I first imagined FLOESSA™, it wasn’t born out of spreadsheets, funding pitches, or business plans, it was born out of lived experience.

Like so many mothers, I believed breastfeeding would come naturally. Instead, I was met with latch struggles, sleepless nights, and more frustration than I could have ever expected. Years later, with my second child, I tried again. Older, wiser, and more determined, I finally began to understand just how many barriers mothers face.

I realized something important: breastfeeding is natural, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

From cracked nipples to the stress of feeding in public, from endless bottle prep to spoiled milk, I saw firsthand how a moment that a beautiful bond should be, too often turned into a cycle of exhaustion and stress. It was in that space—between the struggle and the solution—that FLOESSA™ was born.
