FLOESSA wasn't born from market research. It was born from necessity, frustration, and a mother's determination to reclaim her life. As a mother juggling multiple children, household responsibilities, and the demands of modern life, Andrea experienced firsthand the challenges of breastfeeding with her children: difficulty latching, time consuming pumping sessions, time consuming bottle prep, and the impossible task of feeding discreetly in public. She watched herself and other mothers sacrifice their dignity, time, and well-being because no one had designed a breast pump around the realities of their actual lives. That lived experience became her inspiration. Rather than accept these challenges as inevitable, Andrea envisioned a better solution—one that honors mothers' time, protects their dignity, and acknowledges that breastfeeding doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in the midst of chaos: managing work, caring for multiple children, navigating NICU stays, and simply trying to be present for the people who depend on her. FLOESSA is her answer to that reality. It's a product designed by a mother, for mothers like herself, with the goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of breastfeeding families around the world.

Our Story

Born from matriarchs. Built for modern motherhood.

FLOESSA™ began with a simple belief: mothers deserve better. Founder and CEO Andrea Miller, raised in a family of resilient women, learned strength and self-reliance early in life. When she became a mother herself, she encountered familiar challenges: difficulty latching, long and inefficient pumping sessions, messy milk transfers, and discomfort feeding in public.

Recognizing that traditional breast pumps had barely evolved in over a century, she envisioned a direct pump-to-feed approach designed around the realities of modern motherhood. FLOESSA™ aims to save time, reduce mess, and honor the dignity of mothers juggling work, latching challenges, or caring for babies in the NICU.

We're not here to "fix" breastfeeding. We're here to make it more intuitive, practical, and empowering.

FLOESSA™ is a mother-led breast pump innovation brand developing a modern direct pump-to-feed system designed for the real needs of breastfeeding mothers. With support from industrial design advisors, lactation consultants, and NICU nurses, FLOESSA™ focuses on hands-free pumping, intuitive feeding workflows, and maternal comfort. The system is currently in development and preparing for future FDA review.

FLOESSA™ is a mother-led innovation brand developing a more intuitive and efficient way for women to pump and feed. The direct pump-to-feed concept seeks to simplify the feeding experience and reflect the realities of modern motherhood. The system is currently in development and preparing for future FDA review.
